Please forgive me if this is already listed elsewheres. i did a search and could not find anything to answer what i am looking for.

I just bought Windows 7 and before i install it I want to make sure there has been a fix to run this with BF2 ?
I had the Beta version a while ago and when I would play BF2 it would boot me out after like 3 minutes of playing.
Is there an update that fixed this and if so was it game based or was it Punkbuster based fix? also if there is a patch just for this problem can someone point me to the fix so i know if its okay to install windows 7?

thank you all.

PB works fine with Windows 7 now. 100% compatible.

I'm playing BF2 on Win7 RC1 32-bit with no problems.  You might have to run some PB stuff in compatibility mode, can't recall.

Some issues I ran into while playing BF2 on Windows 7 x64...
If you have a joystick, you need to map the horizontal and vertical axises to the "Secondary" section on the controls page.  This has something to do with the 1.5 patch and the Falcon controls or something

When you alt+tab to desktop, the game crashes and you only see a black screen when you try to bring the game back up again.  I think this has something to do with the Aero interface, and I've read of a few solutions, so they're out there if you're wondering.

Also, there are random times when the audio in the game gets all fuzzy and soft, though I'm not sure what causes this problem.  Restarting the game fixes this.

I've had no problems with PunkBuster
