Good afternoon, I posted about a similar problem a while back and since i upgraded my pc it hadn't occured since until....

I updated my nVidia graphics drivers, and my display/gpu fell back into analogue input. When i roll back to the previous drivers it's all good, everything runs in digital. All connections are made via DVi and i can't see why on one set of drivers it'll all run in digital but a driver update makes it all run in analogue.

So now i'm using quite old nVidia drivers and it's causing some minor issues with a couple of games.

This is very annoying for me, what am i doing wrong?

Safe mode, drivercleanerpro, restart, safe mode, install latest drivers.

drivercleanerpro broked my graphics drivers.

Have to install them manually now from the device manager. Tis massively fail.

I don't mean to be pushy with this request but i'm really at a dead end with this mutha fuckin driver thing, i had a look at installing via device manager but i'm not sure i even know where to start with that.

I right clicked the 9800GT in device manager and clicked to update driver, went thru the motions and clicked the 'have disk' option, found the .inf file in the nVidia driver package but wasn't sure so aborted.

so i installed as per usual and still, with the very latest drivers, it switches back to analogue input. nothing i do gets it back into digital input. alas, i roll back to the previous driver, happy days, digital input.
