constant flash player error pop up

I keep getting a flash player error popup every 30 seconds or so and I need to know how to make it stop.

It looks like the flash player is trying to auto update and keeps failing, here is what the error says

"THERE WAS AN ERROR DOWNLOADING THE FLASH PLAYER UPDATE PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER OR VISIT ADOBE.COM/GO/GETFLASHPLAYER TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF THE FLASH PLAYER"

I will post a screen shot of the error below.

my flash player is working fine the way it is and I do not need to update it

I think it is just set to auto update and I do not know how to turn off auto update .

Stop using IE
Stop playing Zoo World like a little girl
Use less quicklaunches, none is better.
Facebook sucks.

This is for a computer at work that my female co worker uses, not me.

I do not have a facebook page and we are forced to use IE at work

as for the quick launches I just removed them, I am trying to make her computer less confusing

you'll have to excuse Finray. while it's true that he thinks he knows everything, he's never been exposed to business PC's before.
is there an "adobe updater", perhaps in the add/remove programs? un install if so . . .

Sorry Burnzz, I figured a work computer would be heavily restricted, to not allow AIM, WMP, and Facebook.
