Latest model are not supposed to overheat. Ive got mine about a year ago, and its still running like it just went out of the box. And ive already made some 6-7 hours game of fallout 3 without shutting it down, no heat at all.

You can't say that running a game for 6-7 hours without it overheating is a plus point.

I run Fo3, 1280x1024 (which is more pixels than your 720p, fyi) max everything, 16x AF, and I barely hit 60 degrees.

Well, considering the weak point of the old 360 was overheating, and that they dont do it anymore. Yes its a plus.
