GTX 260 or 9800 GX2

Dilemma time, I can get either of these cards for $130-$150ish but which is truly better?

According to this site, the 9800 GX2 beats it in some aspects however, I hear nothing but good from the GTX 260

I'm still skeptical that GTX 260 is better not sure why.

GTX 260 or HD 5770. If I were you I'd seriously consider the HD 5770.

Dual GPU means some extra issues.

I own both. Gaming on the 98000GX2 is always a bit of a pain. Some games don't scale well with SLI. Also that card runs hot and loud

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. GTX260, it's like the 8800GTS 512 was back in the day, epically powerful compared to the price.

9800GX2 is, as max said, loud, hot and unpractical.

I love my GTX 260. I upgraded from a 9600 GT. Before I bought mine, I did some comparisons of multiple NVidia products on NVidia's website using their compare chart. Also, as far as I know, I think GTX 260s by XFX still come with 3 games along with 3DMark Advanced Edition. I received Farcry 2, Call of Duty: World @ War, and Mirror's Edge with mine.

Honestly, I loathe ATI products. I won't touch an ATI card with a 10 foot pole unless I'm repairing a friend's computer that has one...
