I have some friends who are testing this (they were Grand Central Customers). They are loving it. Some of them are switching their main numbers to google voice.
Gvoice now works with your existing number.

It's got some really cool features.

You can now tie it to any number.. for example my old original cell phone number.. all of my voicemails are delivered to my gmail inbox as mp3's and text.

I tried to get an invite but got an email from Google saying that it was not available in Austria but that they are going to roll it out internationally. Which means the UK and Australia. Then the rest of Europe maybe in 6 months to a year...

One other thing I forgot to mention is you can record the call simply by pressing 4 it says "Call recording on" to let everyone know. It comes in handy if you are driving and you cant write stuff down. Again, delivered to you gvoice account online as an mp3 that you can download or stream.

Some user specific greetings callers get when they reach my voicemail. One should stand out.

It's expanding soon. I just passed out 3 invites. When I get more I'll post here. I have bitch set to go straight to voice-mail too. You can even set it so they get "sorry this number has been disconnected message". It would be pretty funny if they called you from another number and didn't get it after though.

Ive sent out all three of mine .

Honestly the single most useful feature is getting my voicemails via text on my phone. The other stuff is pretty cool though to.
