Just got an AC130 in a 4x airdrop

This is some goddamn motherfucking bullshit, it's pissing me the hell off. 2 rounds in a row now I've gotten a predator missile, and both fucking times the host left while I was in the middle of guiding it. This caused the host migration fuckup, and my missile got lost in limbo. I just return to the game and the guy closes the laptop.

I tend to get the sentry gun... it seems to get me more kills than the predator.

I got a harrier strike with just using the RPG, then I proceeded to use my AC-130, I was going to get a nuke, then it was deathmatch, and I got like 15 kills in 5 seconds and ended the game - wasteland
I hate Wasteland so much. It's a camper's paradise and you're pretty much fucked any time there's aircraft. Especially the AC-130 and it's gazillion counter-measures.
There are two major problems they need to fix in the game:
1) 1887's range
2) AC-130 needs less counter-measures, it shouldn't be invincible, and you can't even shoot the thing with your gun.

I never liked the look of people in the apache on killcams... it looks like you're missing half the time. Anyway... i've shot down millions of apaches, but only ever one AC130, i unlocked the AC130 yesterday but i haven't even got a killstreak of 8 since i unlocked it
The 1887 is one of the weapons I refuse to use because I like to think I don't suck at this game so bad that I need to dual wield a weapon that has the range of a sniper rifle and power/spread of a shotgun.mtb0minime wrote:

For you I'd recommend you set up your killstreak like this: Predator Missile --> Harrier --> AC130/heli gunner. Basically if you get to the predator missile (5 kills) you're guaranteed a Harrier, which will likely get you the AC130. For a nuke I find the 'Harrier --> heli gunner --> Nuke' setup best. Predator > 4x airdrop > AC130
Is it best to swap the airdrop with the harrier or the attack chopper?

I find the Harrier better overall. its hovering feature is nice, plus you're bound to get at least a kill with the bombing run, while the chopper can easily be shot down before it gets a chance to do anything.SEREVENT wrote:

My loadout used to be Predator > Attack Heli > Chopper Gunner. I'd almost always get the attack heli, but it would literally get maybe one kill at best. I think its record for me was 2 or 3 kills. Now I use Predator > Harrier > Chopper Gunner, and oh my gawd is is better. The harrier will almost always get 4-5 kills as a good average and almost always jumps me to my chopper gunner. I use either:
Predator - Harrier - Chopper
or
Harrier - Chopper - Nuke
Usually the first. Sometimes I will swap out Predator with Sentry though, if its CTF or Domination.

i also wait until i get the care package grenade, equip it, and go sprint knifing
making people rage is a large part of the fun for me
Care package nade + lightweight + knife = epic win.
The thing with the heli gunner is that the chopper flies right above you so if a good team starts shooting you witt their guns and stingers it goes down easily.SEREVENT wrote:

The ac130 on the other hand since its flying way way above you people don't notice it taht much as they are already busy in a firefight and plus it takes three stringer launches (if you launch two the flares deploy and you need the third one to destory it) so i prefer the ac130.
