I had the Brisbane strain of the flu (given to me by one of my two Australian friends from Brisbane! worst part was neither had been home in over a year) earlier in the year and that was the first time in my entire life I ever had the flu (that I can remember). That shit SUCKED. I was sick for a good week and the worse part was that my insurance had gotten canceled without my knowledge. I went to the doctor to get checked out and hopefully a prescription and the secretary told me I wasn't covered. Had to get my girlfriend's card and all I got was a 'script for a normal medicine. Absolutely horrible since I had no meds to help the body recover.

My mom did not want her to stay in the hospital, so she's staying at my house now. All I could say it sucks balls and if I die ATG can have all my trustfund money (IDK how this will work out as a legal document in the court of law) and any property that is in my name. ATG seems like a cool guy and Taiwan needs a militant. Oh, and Cougar gets all the gold I have stored in my bank accounts.

I had it in June. First day I knew something was wrong was when I had to go back to school after finals because I didn't sign some proclamation on my US History regents exam. I was in a sweatshirt but it wasn't that hot out and I had sweat pouring down my back and face. Following day I could barely move. Took my temperature... 102. Went right to the doctors and got diagnosed with just "the flu" (they don't bother identifying it because it's treated the same way but because of the length the doctor said it was Swine). Got Tamiflu, symptoms went down in 2 days. Felt the full effect for about 3 days and that was it.
It's really not a big deal unless you're 3 or 78 years old.
