Cold, of course, implies under freezing. Anything above is merely not warm.

It's 25 F tonight. We received another foot of snow this weekend (6in on 2 different occasions). So now we've shoveled our driveway at least 3 times this past week.

I don't even have the luxury of a block warming pole at home, I park on the street, only at work can I attach my car to a power outlet. So this morning consisted of brushy brushy on the car, the starter was so frozen that it sounded like a duck when I let go of the key (didn't return that fast), scrapy scrapy on the windshield, full power on the asswarmer, shifting gears was like stirring syrup.

On the upside, doing handbrake turns is always a bit fun before work.

It's all fun and games until you slide your sled into that pile of snow that has the curb or stone or similar hiding innit.

There's a good 90 degree turn with great visibility and low traffic right outside my office window, a 5-series BMW just came in handles first already before the corner in a vicious powerslide which he overshot tail end into the shrubs, maintained forward momentum enough to keep 90 % of the car on the road though. He made it out without any damage within milliseconds, except maybe for a slightly dented self-image and broken illusion of not being the greatest race driver in the world. 2 kph more speed and that would've been a bumperjob on his to-do list.
