5.1 Surround Sound Headset suggestions.

I've been using Turtle Beach HPA2 5.1 head set for 3 years now and i think some of the wires are getting loose inside for now im mending them but this headset is pretty worn out. Im pairing it up with an Asus d2x Soundcard.

Basically I want to replace it, Any ideas on what i should get? I may just get another HPA2 or those razers, im not really sure what i should get.

Here's my take. Surround sound headphones are cool and all, but really, a pair of quality regular headphones are MUCH MUCH better. I've tried a few surround sound headsets, and they all fucking suck compared to my HD280 Pro's.

I mean really, it's on your head...the speakers are all beside each other. Front/rear/middle and such is all in the same spot.

So my advice: Get good headphones and call it a day.

But if you insist on surround sound headsets, get Tritton or Razer.

Sennheiser HD555s are also a good idea. You can also essentially turn them into HD595s by removing a foam strip on the inside (really easy), too.
