i'm not picking an argument with you, but akimbo 1887's are way OP, the slight minority who would even suggest they aren't are the ones who rely on them to get kills cause they can't manage it with any other kit.

i'm not suggesting you are one of them, i'm just suprised you are defending them!

but we all know who does rely on akimbo 1887's to get kills, yes, you know who you are!!! ha ha (if you guess right you get a karma)
there are a few people that ONLY use it.... and they generally suck giant hairy monkey balls

i take them as my secondary weapon most of the time because they're handy for clearing buildings and such..... but i'm usually just using my Uzi or FAL

i guess i just don't see what's so wrong with them tbh, i havent even seen that many people using them really.... and when they do you can usually just sidestep away and shoot them

Question: Does the 1887 shoot buckshot or slug rounds?

Shotgun shells at the time used black powder as a propellant, and so the M1887 shotgun was designed and chambered for black powder 12-gauge shotshells, with a 10-gauge chambering being offered soon afterwards. It was soon realized that the action on the M1887 was not strong enough to handle early smokeless powder shotshells, and so a redesign resulted in the stronger Winchester Model 1901 10-gauge only. No 12-gauge chambering was offered, as Winchester did not want the Model 1901 to compete with their successful 12-gauge Model 1897 pump-action shotgun.
Buck shot probably.

You know on Sub Base... and there's that alley room seperating the area with the sub and the side with the jeep, well i was at the open end where the ramp is and some dude with 1887 akimbo shot me from the wall on the other side in one before i'd turned around. All you need to know is it's stupid

Speaking of Sub Base. I think that's the easiest map to rack up kills on.

I think Afghan is one of the easiest maps.

Wish it was. The crosshair is right inbetween the two screens, so aiming is really hard. If I get a third monitor I'll hook it up so the crosshair is in the middle screen, it'd be awesome then.

Trying to convince my brother to lend me his for a bit...

I fucking hate people that use RPGs against infantry. It's for vehicles.
So is the Javelin, but we're talking about the CoD series here...
Anyway, how is the RPG in MW2?  Accuracy wise compared to the one in MW1.  I loved using the RPG in MW1 to get some close range kills.

is it actually widening your FoV? it just looks like it's stretching everything.

I'm pretty sure I heard someone moaning befor that FOV was fixed, which is probably why it just looks stretched

tl;dr, more viewing space, easier to spot enemies.

I'll do two screenshots, one with 2560, one with just 1280.

is it just giving you the same FoV as it gives widescreen monitors?

Yeah. It allows me to use the 16:9 aspect ratio on two 5:4s. I could get the same effect, but I'd have to buy a >30" monitor to get the same viewing space, and image size.

but you would be able to see where you're aiming and shit wouldn't be stretched.

I'll admit 2 screens isn't brilliant, but 3 screens would be perfect. Also, MW2 isn't really the best game to show it off in. Games like L4D2, DiRT 2, other CoDs would work better.

To get the same effect, you'd have to buy a very large monitor. Which would be expensive, and you wouldn't get the "wrap around" effect.

I can't imagine playing it on 3 monitors. Everything would be stretched horribly and you wouldn't even get much (if any) benefit out of it.
