You wouldn't be getting the same effect. At all.To get the same effect, you'd have to buy a very large monitor. Which would be expensive, and you wouldn't get the "wrap around" effect.
In some ways a 30" 2560x1600 monitor will be better than a 3840 x 1024 setup, in other ways it will be worse, but they won't give nearly the same effect.

Yes, I agree, however I'm at the low end of the potential of Eyefinity. The real advantages would be where you had 3x30" monitors, to get the same effect you'd have to have one massive monitor, which would cost a lot more.

I have burnout on PC and PS3. I hooked up my PS3 to my secondary monitor (another 21" 1920x1080) and it looked like shit compared to PC. It surprised me a bit, because it doesn't look that bad when you aren't comparing.Finray wrote:
