The lack of PC dominating at least the upper half of the timeline since 1961 is disappointing.

3rd gen and up for me. Which is quite a rarity these days, so many kids out there whose first system was a PlayStation

Honestly I'm proud to be part of the older group and have been able to play a gazillion NES games as a kid. Back in the day when there were rarely saves, and instead you had to write down a password, and that is if you were lucky. Back in the days when games were hard and required a long session to sit down and complete in one sitting, all without dying too much, of course.

I feel like my generation (and older) are also able to appreciate games for their gameplay and realize how far this form of entertainment has come. So many people out there nowadays are obsessed with graphics and presentation, the "skin deep" kind of stuff.

First gaming console was PS1, back in the mid-90s.

Well, nowadays games are for the most part only made to be sold, not to be played.

My first actual console was a PS2, now I have a PS3.

Before I had the PS2, it was Doom, Wolfenstein and Half Life on the PC

My cousin (who is in his 30s now, I think), still has an old SNES at my uncles house. I remember playing it with him when i was younger, it was pretty
