huh, sleep - windows 7 is the first OS that it's worked right for me. @ work we deal with XP and push updates out at nite, but even on my home machine it never was consistent.

windows 7, the first M$ os to work as advertised. with my luck, SP1 will break the fucker . . .

"problems" = system freezes and requires reset

I have this problem.

Besides that (lol), it's great.
I had this problem as well... do you have some powerful hardware installed? I've got a nice GPU and am overclocking and i would freeze all the time which needed resets...
Finally i figured it out - go to power options in the CP and change the level to "high performance". Uses more energy to power all your shit but freezing = gone.
I dunno what you would consider "powerful", it's mid-high end stuff that's two years old. I can make it happen every time when doing big file transfers across hard drives...did that happen to you too?

Anyways I tried it, I hope that fixes it.
Mine would just happen pretty randomly. But if you can do it by making your hardware work hard it might be that they need more power. My stuff is a few years old but was pretty high end when they were new. This happened to me in Vista and Win7 so it might be a lack of power. just a guess

Vista 2.0, really. SP3 doesn't quite cut the vast amount of changes they made.

I got Windows 7 64 bit Pro on my gaming rig and Windows 7 ultimate 64bit on my lappy and torrent box.  Must say, windows seven is great AND it was my idea. I like the GUI, its responsiveness, its compatibility, and its general intuitiveness.  I feel like it just flows, ya know?

I'm getting a bit pissed off at the number of programs that are only compatible with 32bit and not 64bit W7.

I just put 7 on my workbench computer, and I'm surprised at how snappy it is.

And above all, it isn't as broken as XP is. WLAN actually works now without a third-party configuration tool.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Yep, that's the one. It's 2-3 times faster than the old Celeron, lol.
