okay, while unfortunately, i can't think of any prizes that are suitable, i wanted to give people who take vids of their gameplay the oppurtunity to post their best 5-15 seconds of straight gameplay (please no edited movies, and im talking about one moment, not a bunch of short shot clips) that they can manage to capture.

Hopefully if there is interest we can get a bunch of vids, and vote for a winner. Just want to know if people think this is a good idea?
All classes are invited, but im sure we are gonna get alot fo sniper, SRAW shots. hopefully we can get a nice variety, and see some high skilled aiming shots... and preferably no in vehicle, im talking aim and fire, i don't care if u can bomb the shit out of the Wake Island carrier, its easy as shit.

FOR THOSE INTERESTED, bud do't have a way to take vids, FRAPS is a quick easy download, that allows 30 seconds of streaming on the trial version. GOOD LUCK

My way of finding out distances is by being a squad leader and setting an order to the position where the fresh corpse is. Bam, instant distance marker!

cool... i'll cook one up... and the shot u called 437 m or whatever.. couldn't be accurate distance... the vigtim was far too large on the screen for that range...i snipe all the time, especially in wake island... i make shots in the 400s but u can barely see the target

My 437m kill is quite acurate. The spec-ops had just blown the arty. He had time to walk away and I got him. I will conceed 10m if you want. What you see is a graphical card glitch.

I have no reason to lie and I know what I am talking about in that game.

I hear of people saying "I shot somebody 400M+!!!" but isn't the draw distance limit for soldiers around 370-400M?

For example this shot was at about 370M I killed the guy just as he moved outside the draw distance.

Granted, you can kill people further away if they're in the gunner position of a humvee/vodnik/jeep and you see the turret moving. (vehicle draw distance is further than soldier drawing distance)

Now, i've got a 256MB Radeon 9800 with the draw distance set at 100%. Does the soldier draw distance increase if you have a beefier graphics card? I personally doubt that since it'd make things unfair for some players.

My graphics card is not as good as yours. I have played with setting a long time to get it to show soldiers farter than 400m I have draw set to 100% details to high but alomst everything else to medium. Dynamic light and shadows are off and 2x anti-aliasing. This is from the top of my head I will look it up tonight at home. As for kills above 400m it is not a mith. In my picture above it was my second kill at that distance. I killed a medic exactly at the arty. I know becuse I had teammates killing other guys there and they kept comming back until I got the medic.
