The actual games that try to be actual games on the Wii (if you get what I mean) are all pretty awful. You're better off just sticking to the typical gimmicks, wii sport, wii fit, wii sport resort, wii sport in da house II, wii fit mars edition, whatever else they churn out... oh yeah, loads of mario games
I got cod 3 for Wii and I regret it, I'm still stuck on the first Canadian mission because the makers fucked up on the coding with the motion sensing.

I got the Wii when it was the cheapest thing on the block. The PS3 and Xbox were both very expensive. Besides, I enjoy the Wii for nice, casual gaming. I got too much other stuff in my life to spend it in front of a game at the moment.
so be satisfied with your 5-minute wii sports and your puerile turn-off mario stuff...

Metroid prime 3, the only good wii shooter. I'm surprised at how bad the graphics are in most wii games, while it's no PS3, it definitely can do much better than what developers give it credit for.
I seem to remember reading something from the Nintendo USA president saying that the developers can do much better in the graphics department - the Wii can handle more than what the programmers are throwing at it.
It can handle much more, Metroid prime 3 had incredible graphics, as did a few other Nintendo developed games early on. I'm not sure why developers are treating it like it's a sega genesis, probably just to save money on development, but still sell the game for $50CapnNismo wrote:

So what would be the best FPS on the Wii?? I only have Mario Kart and Mario Party 8, two great party games. Looking for some stuff just for me, though. My girlfriend and I play the others together, too.

Anyway - the game is a Christmas present from my girlfriend. Went ahead and got F1 2009, but seeing as how I can't play until after Christmas, I can't tell you guys how the game is (not that any of you jackasses seem to care).
