Your budget isn't going to get you anything decent, I'm afraid. Cheapest set that I'd recommend would run around 80.

One suggestion, though. Stay away from Logitech.

I don't want anything top of the bill. He can enjoy music with €5 speakers too, so €40-50 will be fine and better. I realise I won't be getting the best, but surely I'm not getting anything crap, but something I will be able to enjoy music with.

Any other recomendations ?

Meh, Amazon doesn't ship those Altec Lansings VS2621 speakers to Belgium.. *sigh* I guess I'll have to go with the T10 instead, or do you guys have any other suggestions?

I'm in doubt now.

Either I go for the Altecs ( €50)

or the Logitech X-230 ( €47, but €60 in the store where they sell the Altecs)


Sadly, I can't find find any comparisons of the two sets, and single reviews usually have the same conclusion, "great speakers"

Which would you guys pick?

I guess. He's not an audiophile so any upgrade would be fine. I decided to go with the X-230 as that specific store is a new one down the road so a cheap product would be a fine way to test the store
