Couple days ago, I bought a 22" that's native rez is 1680x1050, I always thought that if you have multiple monitors of different sizes set to their native rez, then objects will appear the exact same size on them, no?

Finray has 2 20" 1280x1024 monitors. The aspect ratio of those monitors is 5:4. He wants a new 1680x1050 monitor to put next to them, but the aspect ratio of that is 16:10. Monitors are measured diagonally from corner to corner, so a widescreen 20" monitor will be significantly shorter than a fullscreen 20". Therefore, Finray is trying to find out what size of widescreen monitor is the same height as a 20" fullscreen monitor.woodrot wrote:

but i wouldnt want a 26" or 32 " 1920 1200 sitting next to it it would look stupid man.
