I was totally freaked when I learned that even the duckbilled platypus was poisonous! Makes that critter even more weird.
I hate spiders as well...cant stand them. Here in Indiana Brown Recluse and Black Widow spiders, they are fairly common. The Brown Recluse is probably more common than the Widow. Other than the Black Widow, there is a Brown Widow. It is the same shape and all, but the red hour glass is an orange-ish color, while the rest of the body is brown.

Its only the male, and only because of a spike thing on its hind legs, IIRC. Also, I don't know what all this 'duckbilled' shit is, but its just called 'platypus'. Its like calling it a four-legged buffalo.silo1180 wrote:

Living in victoria aint so bad, except for the freakin MASSIVE HUNTSMANS CRAWLING AROUND YOUR EFFIN ROOM! and they always do it to me right before i go to sleep...... Thats why i like to pull out the old bug bomb every couple of months, and blast any of the bastards straight to hell. Though i think where i live we bought funnel webs with us when we moved from NSW. Im scared of small spiders. The reason being you ask? Ive had 2 fucking crawl across my face while I was sleeping, now that is fucking scary. Waking up with a fucking 1-2 inch wide spider on your face. Fling it against the wall then stamp the little bastards to death. Bollocks. Now ive fucking freaked myself out, gunna be hard to sleep tonight even though its never happened while in my house.
