the reason that guy "soaked" your 3 clips is quite obviously because he was a medic... he was dropping medic bags for himself healing back to full health every chance he got. because you were a fair distance you never caused enough damage to finish him off.

as for the tank incident... the tank has 2 weapons operated by the driver. the shells; used for shooting TANKS AND OTHER VEHICLES, and the port gun; for INFANTRY. My question to you is, WHY the hell were you trying to SHELL a single guy in the first place?!

For the tank thing - i first shot him with the port gun, after no reaction by his side i shot a shell on him, and while reloading the second shell i shot him the second time with some port gun bullets.
Maybe playing maps other than Karkand and Sharqui will give you a little more experience in these matters...

Okay, I was looking at an old thread yesterday with similar complaints and it turns out the guy had serious ping/latency issues so when he thought he was unloading three or four bursts into someone at close range but getting killed with 'a single shot' it just looked that way on his end (been there, been owned).
But your stats aren't bad and your accuracy is okay so you are a decent aim...
I regularly fire off a bunch of rounds from an APC at a running target and fail to kill the guy, while an experienced armour user can often get me in a single shot in the same situation.
