About a year and a half ago, someone gave me an emailadress written down like:

[person's name]777.
e1.ru.
I assumed the correct format was:

[person's name]777@e1.ru
Since I never got a reply to an email I sent, I started to doubt my assumptions. Anyone on this forum with more extensive knowledge of Russian address formats? I would like to sent this before 21:00 GMT, so please,..

ok, here goes wikipedia quote so that you can learn about what e-mail address actually is. basically, there's nothing special about russian e-mail addresses at all - they are of the same format as all else, so you are probably right in the assumption that [person's name]777@e1.ru is the correct address. i also checked e1.ru domain - it is indeed an existing russian domain which, among other things, hosts somekinda free e-mail service. here's the link - they even have an english version there.
if you open your mind too much your brain will fall out.
