Law Abiding Citizen - 6.5/10
Bruno - 6/10
Wasnt that great, and I was almost constantly cringing.

Sherlock Holmes - 8/10. Was decent, and I like Guy Ritchie's style, but certainly not as good as Lock Stock or Snatch.
Brüno is fucking amazing. I've honestly never laughed so hard at a single movie.
I watched The Hangover two days ago.. Was funny. 6.5/10. Tbh, it was totally as I expected, before everyone said it was FUCKING AWESOME. Come on guys, it wasn't that great.
I watched The Departed yesterday. Damn that film is a mind fuck, I fucking love it. Jack Nicholson is a god, as usual. It's the second time I watch it, and I still don't get the ending. 9/10

Jens... something is wrong with you. Bruno should've been the 6.5/10, Hangover you should've never laughed so hard at a single movie. The Departed is not a mindfuck, it's just retardation.
Noes, you are so wrong. I mean, Allan was fucking epic, but the rest of the characters were meh, imo.mtb0minime wrote:

You can only have one extravagant character, though. Besides, he wasn't even really a friend in their circle, just the bride's relative. The circumstances and situations they got into were hilarious and toeing the line between extreme in a funny way and extreme and over-the-top in a stupid way. Nearly every line in the movie was funny. There was always something funny going on, always a funny moment.Jenspm wrote:

your are obviously gay if you liked brunoJenspm wrote:
I laughed more at Brüno tbh. Could've been the atmosphere though - sitting at the movies with a bunch of friends; heckling the parents who left after 10 minutes with their kids..
hangover was the lulz!!
Babylon A.D. (2008) it started off good, had a good concept then towards the end it kind of got gay.... bad use of technology unrealistic meaning some guy was wearing some plastic thing around his neck looked fake and phony and other things like that made it kind of corny--- story line started off good then kind of went down the hill....

Enjoyed it from start to finish

I hated the way that ended. The whole film was building up the idea that there's nothing you can do to avoid whats happened when bam, he avoids what happens.Ultrafunkula wrote:

I think it spoiled an otherwise very gripping film.
Gran Torino.
10/10.
Even though someone spoiled the ending I liked every second of it. Witty, well written, with great characters, an excellent story, and the usually top notch acting and aura of awesome of Clint Eastwood.

The CGI lived up to the hype, spectacular. It's a shame the about the cheesy story, bad actors and the awful 1-liners throughout the film, with the right casting and a better script this could have been a master piece, but non the less it was enjoyable, and some scenes took my breath away.
Also I regret seeing it in 3D, It adds very little to the film, and some things go out of focus which shouldn't. I'll stay away from 3D until they perfect it.
The Soloist 5/10 ... pretty average.

Gone Baby Gone - 8/10.
I agree. Everyone was going on about how it was the film that showed how awesome 3D was and how it was the next step for cinema. But the 3D was.. bad, and very distracting.justice wrote:
