Why are most pot users total losers?

So whenever somebody is arrested for pot possession they usually also have a bunch of warrants or the police were stopping them for breaking some other law and just found the pot at the same time.

So why are most pot users complete losers when it comes to life that they end up amassing bunches of warrants or end up getting caught with pot because they did something stupid while carrying marijuana?

I did noticed a lot of people I know became kinda slow at everything after they started smoking [i]pot a lot[(i] but one of my better buddies who smokes pot several times a day for the past 2 decades is one of the smartest people I know. So its possible it could be affecting some people more than others, some in a negative way. The people I know that aren't very successful in their lives were "losers" way before they started smoking it.
Conclusion: I don't know anyone who became a loser after starting smoking pot.

Totally with you on this one. A friend of mine (who died of throat cancer after smoking cigarettes like crazy, which certainly was NOT smart) was an absolute genius. He unfortunately died at the age of 66. He started the computer program at a private university back at my home town, designed all kinds of stuff for the US military, made millions off of a series of inventions (you audiophiles probably use one or two of his patents every day) and was a proponent of marijuana legalization. Always had great quality weed. If he had a calculus problem he couldn't solve, he'd leave the desk, smoke a joint and then the answer would come to him. One of the smartest men I've ever known.

That CNN blog is clearly written by a former employee of Fox News...
