or is like 40% of this forum now about shit talking and seeing who can get a thread locked

Like all I see is locked threads and pages of bullshit

Dont get me wrong, I mean it's interesting and funny but that seems to be whats been happening recently

It's like a sport, "Make a thread that's borderline offending to see if it will spiral out of control and get locked" or "Make a thread thats outlandishly offending and see how long it takes to get locked"

Like the one day where we had like 1 and a half pages of, "Thank ...." threads

Anyone else noticing this in the last 3 weeks?

i see what you mean - i like the forum to be a place where you could interact with people from all over, share, and have a laugh.
i think i g's one of the smartest people that log in, but you'll never see him post a paragraph. i think AR's pictures are both funny and timely, i think the DAST forum doesn't have too many members with a sense of humor, and i think most of the regulars in the game section take themselves way too seriously (stats r lyfe, etc).

i think the joke will be on us one day - chuyskywalkers' gonna wake up one morning and say "ah, fuck it" and loose mayhem upon teh internetz. ..

The worst thing to do, is visit bf2s expecting to find some lulz or some debate, you'll never find it if you're looking, you'll just end up realising what pile of shit this place pretty much is. However, theres plenty of things to stumble upon and thats what makes this place great.

having been here almost two years? there are users that only frequent DAST, and look down their noses @ the rest of the forum.

this forum, imho, is experiencing a psychotic split. the graphics section is the only thing that kept me coming around, this time last year.
the tech section is pretty good, as long as you realize some members don't know the first thing about tech.
