hard drive issue

for some time now i've just been ignoring it, but its beginning to be irritating..

when i double click one of my hard drives (internal), it opens search instead of opening the drive up normally. so to open it i have to right click > open.

anyone know how to make it so when i double click it opens the drive normally instead of giving me the damn search?

Try Internet options, advanced tab, "Reset" button. That should reset your program access defaults.

btw, that command will restore any windows-created dll files back to their defaults. in this case, the shell32.dll which stores all those default clicking options and start menu settings, etc. doesn't always work on viral machines though, since those viruses usually register themselves as dll's and do their own crap. if that happened this command wouldn't help until after you removed the virus. im such a nerd
