It was a good movie, not a great movie but watchable. I made a comment about it in Rate the Last Movie thread.
Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Downy and Law made the film. Plot was disappointing and rather obvious from about 15 minutes in. Comedy was used to great effect.
Pissed that they gave Mark Strong such a shit part.

Downey was good in Iron Man, but so much better in Sherlock Holmes. His character in Iron Man was average, but he nailed Sherlock Holmes. He is what made the movie.

I didnt really believe it was magic, it was more of "this story is godawful and isn't what Sherlock Holmes is supposed to be.
And you have to be kidding me if you think his character was average in Iron Man, he was one of the funniest, sarcastic people in any movie I've ever seen. Definitely one of my favourite movies.
He was good in this, but not as good.
I love both of the films for different reasons...

I enjoyed it. Not what I'd normally expect from Sherlock Holmes, but entertaining regardless.
