I've got some old shitty 2.0 logitechs that are going out on me so i'm looking for a nice 2.1 set. I've got about $80 - $100 to spend, prefer newegg.
After careful consideration of all your wonderful suggestions, I am looking at these 3 systems:

Thoughts? I'm really kind of clueless about audio equipment and such

well, i guess the best advice you could really get from someone over the internet (especially with the criteria you posted ) would be to go to a store and try some out. Best buy usually has some set up, i believe.

I have Cambridge SoundWorks MegaWorks THX 2.1 250D, don't know how expensive they are, but they crank up to 11. Really nice speakers.
