Now that I've finished fixing up my old computer I'd like to sell it. Here's how it looks:

New parts:

GPU - ATI Sapphire Radeon HD 5770
PSU - Corsair TX 750x Power Supply
Wireless Card - Rosewill RNX-G300LX Wireless Adapter
Case - Cooler Master Gladiator 600

Used Part:

CPU - Intel Q6600
RAM - OCZ Reaper DDR2 8GB
CPU Heatsink - ZALMAN CNPS 9700 NT
HDD - Western Digital 400 GB 7200rpm
DVD - HP dvd740 with Lightscribe
MoBo - nForce780i SLI

The new parts alone cost around $400 so I wouldn't take any less than that, but I'd like to turn some of a profit but I'm not sure how much the old parts are worth... Suggestions?

Edit: Forgot to add the Motherboard to the list.

Depends if it's the older Q6600 or the newer one. If older one, I'd say around $600 tops, if it's a newer version about $700. That's a damn nice rig.

I didn't know there was a difference. The used parts were all purchased about 1 year 10 months ago.

I don't know myself. I asked Zimmer if I could take an old Q6600 off his hands, I thought it was better than my E5200. Apparently not, since it's an older model.

The versions you guys are talking about are the steppings.

B3 was the first, it was more voltage hungry (for the most part), with most chips maxing at 3Ghz
G0 was the newer, less voltage hungry. Most chips going past 3Ghz were these.

Just like the i7 C0-D0 move.

look for the letters "SLACR" on the chip or package. That will denote it is a GO stepping, I don't remember the code for B3.

It can be hard to sell used computers for what they are worth. I was trying to sell my old one for a long time for a great deal. In the end I had to take the WC system out, put in on air, and chop 50 bucks off the price.

I may have found someone willing to buy it for $600, more than I thought it would be worth. Although not as high as what some have suggested I could get, still pretty good imo.

It actually had an old SilverStone 750w (about 2 years old) in it but it kept failing to run the video card (the whole system would shut off when the card was plugged in) so I took the Corsair out of my main build for the time being. If you could recommend something cheap I could throw in its place that would be great, otherwise I'm just going to buy another Corsair 750w once I sell this.

That 400W one is.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
