News for all BF2 soldiers
I was watching Discovery channel last night (mythbusters for a little, was about guns) but anyways, the next show was a new one. It's called Future Weapons (2am EST). Some Navy Seal talked about new state of the art weapons and went all over the world to see them and use them.
1. The javelin - Similar to the AT rocket (the same as the javelin in Joint Operations) but they cost $40,000/rocket. But, this destroys tanks and small buildings with ONE rocket. It's heat seeking as well. It can go straight or like a rainbow.
2.The corner shot. The gun that shoots around corners! It was sweet. You flip a latch and it would be 90% and you used a little video screen to see around the corner. And then fire away. One of the weapons came with a grenade launcher.
3. Was a tank that shoots multiple rockets up to 25 MILES away. I was like dang. thats crazy. They had a few of these tanks together. The target they locked on, looked like someone arty'd that spot for 2 minutes straight!
So, these got me thinking. It would be pretty sweet if they came out w/ BF3 (Not 2142) with real weapons like these and update other weapons with similar gameplay. I'd love to shoot some tool hiding around the corner prone with a pkm The javelin you wouldn't have to worry about tanks spawn raping. *in Joint Operations I think you only get 1 or 2 missles. so it's not like 5 w/ the AT class. I've read forums and others and I think this would be awesome. I'd love some indoor maps to go with this and some outdoors with and without armor.
