It can wear down the cables, but their is an implied meaning. If you wrap the headphones around the MP3 player, your next step is to throw it in a backpack or shove it in your pocket. The tumbling it does in there will damage the headphones, not to mention making them dirty for the next time you cram them in your ear.Jebus wrote:
Is that a bad thing? Damn, I do it all the time!Zimmer wrote:
That being said, if you look after them and don't wrap them around your MP3 player, you should be fine.
As I said, I had the ER6-i with the triple flanged eartips and I loved them. The seal was barely ever broken. Now, they do feel a bit weird to start off, but you get used to them. The 3 flanges seriously improve noise cancellation.Dauntless wrote:
Anyone tried headphones that go that far into the ear, I'm not sure how I feel about it. Do you get used to it after a while? They come with three types of ear fittings: two sizes of triple-flange tips and one set of extra-long foam tips. Each set requires insertion pretty far into the ear to achieve a proper seal, so if that sounds uncomfortable to you, steer clear.
