I've got a request from a friend to find a laptop. He says "the best one money can buy" but I'm gonna say theres about a $1200 or so price limit. I asked if he wanted it for gaming and he said a definite 'no'. He also said he wants an even split between computing power and storage.

I need help because I don't know laptops for shit.
Any guidance or help from the bf2s crew would be greatly appreciated! Gracias.

If he isnt playing games on it.. then you wont need to spend that kind of money imho.

However if you're getting a higher end OS.. such as windows 7, and vista etc.. you're gonna want a slightly more expensive machine.. 4GB ram, and a duo processor will be fine.

You can get that for about your asking price..

I'm assuming WA state means Western Aus??

If so: http://www.msy.com.au/notebook/notebook.pdf
