My computer is booting up really slow. Takes like 30 seconds to get out of the bios then it says my boot manager is missing. So to be sure i rebooted and it slowly went to my desktop but froze. So i restarted tried it again and it slowly told the be the boot manager was missing. So i put in my windows 7 disk to fix the boot manager but the damn thing froze again.... Is this all signs of hard drive failure?
Run chkdsk.
What? Is my proccesor dying?
Windows, oh, Windows. When will you stop surprising me.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Try a linux live CD and see how that behaves to rule out hardware failure.
