(before I start, I want to make it clear that I have NEVER cheated or used hacks on bf2, no matter what anyone else says - this post was influcenced by me coming across an actual hacker)

A lot of people get accused of hacking, or acuse others, if you one of the acusers how can you tell he is hacking?!

Well, if he is on your team, study him closley, if he is facing one way then suddenly spins around and his gun starts going a bit crazy, he has an aim bot.

If you're hiding behind  a wall, or in those MEC houses and you get shot in the head, He has a Wallhack

What a lot of cheaters dont realize is that if they have the aimbot set to a certain point in the body (usually head - for insta kills) then people will suspect really easily. (anyone who plays CS will know)

Yes, I know sometimes it feels like the person who has just killed you is hacking, making you think WTF but sometimes its the luck of the draw, sometimes its a hacker. Take a look at their round stats, if they have an abnormal amount of kills - say at the start of the round on sharqi, majority have 0-5 kills and he has 20 or something with 0 deaths (without chopper or amour) then he's either really good or just simply hacking.

(Tonight I was playing with a guy who at first was on USMC Fushee, P-Murda and I kept going to the USMC base and hiding in the trees, moving to completely different places, every time this guy knew exactly where we were, without UAV or a commander. Next round on wake he was doing exactly the same cept on my team which is where i started following him around, i didnt have fraps running so i didnt record a video.

That guy who you said was hacking on a server has a 0.91 K/D with assault rifles and a barely positive overall K/D with all infantry weapons.  Ordinarily that would be decently good.  But with wall hacks/aimbots?  0.91?  Damn, fortunately only really lousy BF2 players use hacks.  Can you imagine, say, CodeSeven.osk using a wallhack, or -=RD=-Volx throwing grenades through walls?  PWNAGE.

But yeah, seeing some guy randomly start spinning/jerking around rapidly with nothing in sight is a pretty good indication of an aimbot.

Yeah, perhaps he just started using it, because his stats do suck. But I could tell he was hacking the way he moved about and his gun going crazy when enemy wasnt even near us. Perhaps the Cham hack too because the USMC hadn't even made it on to the island .

BTW: anyone played with NEWBIE_NITRO? all he does is whine about the fucking J10s and calls everyone who flies them noobs

Mx something or other have just released a new hack i think but you have to pay $20 for it or something stupid.

Type in bf2 hacks in google.

A lot say they work on ranked servers but they show SH of them working on single player.

I believe the lot of them come from MSX Security, a group who blatantly sells hacks on its home page...

All I can say is, anyone who catches their jollies by selling others an unfair advantage in something as unimportant as a computer game, is truly sick.  God, go take on a real challenge and hack the CIA mainframes or something, you script kiddies.

Just out of curiousity, If you are flying a Blackhawk on Mashtuur, close to full speed, and a tank shoots you down, Once, yeah okay, but 3 - 4 times in a row? Does that sound like a hack? (Sorry to go off topic, but It seemed like a good place to ask). Anyways, thanks, I've been wondering how to tell if someone is really hacking.

Its probably not a hack to shoot down helicopters with a tank. I do it quite often. Never 3-4 times in a row but a couple of times in a round is not at all out of the ordinary. If a chopper is going full speed and low it is not that hard to judge its path.

it could be hes just a real good player. he doesnt need a commander or a uav to know where you are. a teammate couldve spotted you while you were running in the back but was to far or to lazy to chase you down. and even if you moved around, once your spotted going in that direction he probably knows where all the good hiding spots are. going 20 - 0 isnt that hard. i can get about there in warlord. i get accused of cheating on a daily basis. but i dont use hacks. the one thing i noticed about people in bf2 is everyone loves to play some type of vehicle alot and they barely practice their infantry skills. thats why in alot of peoples stats they cant get a postive kill/death ratio in weapons. i may not have the best stats but i like it . but i just think that if people played more infantry and practiced then maybe just maybe they would think damn this guy is good instead of damn this guy has to be hacking.

ps. anyone else have a higher average time in weapons than vehicles? i do

first of all, i am german so sorry for my bad english! hope you can read and understand what i mean...

i have >1000 h playtime and i NEVER saw somebody using a hack, maybe a glitch or a bug. but this never makes a lot of points! so guys stop whining. maybe the guy was shooting you was better then you! but in this case you wrote in first post, this guy is not good at all. you need no uav to get shown to the enemy at the minimap. if i play commander i show more enemys to my teammates by spotting them after a scan. cause uav the enemy can see and then they know that they are located...


look my stats they are not bad and i have a lot of experience in bf2! but i alway try to find more trick or things that i can do better. so i study the other good players. i look what they are doing or i simply ask them...

so many things that seem to be cheats or hax or whatever at the first look are just skill or teamwork at the second look!!!

teamplay is much more important in bf2 then in any other game i played before...

so guys...learn to know playing all maps and all vehicles and all soldier classes many hours before you start whining.

E7IX3R you have played most maps between 20 and 30 hours. that is not enough to know all about all the maps. definitely not!!! i have played 3 times more than you and i learn also today still

Different routes, same person, high enough up to make it hard. Yeah, its easy to take down jets and helicopters with tanks, but not 3-4 times in a row.

E7IX3R, I've had my suspicions before about others and have raised them here. I recieved a load of excuses about havent you heard of UAV and the fact the comm can spot you anywhere. I didnt believe the excuses but took the defendants word for it. You certanly can't explain how I was getting shot through buildings which had the one window which I stayed away from.

Basically I was going off my instincts, at the time I was probably on about 500-600 hours so see myself as a good judge. As people say, you get really good players on this who can go all Rambo like.  My mate who I regulary play with was me with me and it wasn't until the next day we both confirmed each others suspicions.

My instincts were correct because those people got wiped and had to start again and I didn't even make the effort of reporting this.  I obviously wasn't the only one who thought something was odd. 

Trust yourself if you feel you have been cheated, you probably have even though people may try to explain how these things happened.

There was no UAV because they had no commander. I know this because someone kept asking someone to go commander on their team.

I used to play CS a lot and you can tell when someone is using an aimbot. This guy when he wasnt in a jet was standing there, twiching like he had something wrong with him - aimbot symptoms.

I was not the only one that suspected him of hacking. Once I mentioned it in chat, he left the server straight away whilst top a good 25 points ahead of anyone else.

Can you explain to me how the "twiching" looked like?
Sometimes, when I'm waiting for a chopper or plane to respawn, I set my mouse sensivity to a very high number (I have Logitech MX518 which has buttons for rising/lovering sensivity) and just shake my mouse so that my ingame character looks ridiculous...

If it looks like something you couldn't possibly do with your controls, then you could suggest there is something involdev in it. Other wise I would just say he's doing the borehood dance

i totally agree with you! i have the mx 518 too. and you can do some crazy spins with it. but i can understand people they dont know the mx 518, that look suspicious

I know what you mean, I have the G5 and also do that. but it wasnt all over the place like having high sensitivity, its hard. he was facing away from the carrier, suddenly span around to face it and his gun start twitching like it was locked on targets but kept swapping as some of them got closer.

Nonsense. Real hackers are leet player. They are soo much better than everyone, so the only thing they can do to be better is to get hacks, and then everyone looks up to them, and so they have something to gain.
