Where there is testosterone there is competition, hence stat whoring and people caring about your team effort. I love competition and while I'm known for being a total tard when it doesn't count; when it does count, if you are jacking around I will get angry with you. BF2 ranked is exactly that: ranked. If you don't want to play with stat whores or competitive people, then play unranked, or other mods like you mentioned. I do so when I need a break from competition. Ruining the competitive atmosphere of BF2 ranked by teamkilling, locking up vehicles, etc. makes for an extremely frusterating game and it is people like that who should settle down and step away, not the people playing for the genuine competition.

To enjoy the game you've got to get into it. You can't just view it as a game, I promise you have way more fun if you loose yourself, (cheers Eminem,) in the game. Sure you shouldn't let it take over your life, but there's no reason you can't get a bit carried away.

We all play for fun, that's what brings yourself to playing it. I have fun and o.k stats.
I just have fun, who cares about my stats!! (well gotta admit it is nice to get unlocks and all the 'good' players are on the ranked servers)
I would have to dissagree with you there. Theres some really good players Useing the NAW mod. Id say better because They dont need to spawn Kill with APC or Baserape to show there skill at the game. They truely play for the fun of the game.imdead wrote:

Hmm... I haven't tried the Mods yet. I might do some downloading tonite But I can always revert back to the '42 Mods (like I do) if I want to play.
