Saw it last night. Not by design but because most of everything else was booked and this was the only one me and the gf could agree on after reading the synposis. Entertaining enough, some nice ideas, basically Fallout 3 The Movie. Denzel playing a badass is not the most believable thing on earth - he's too clean cut. Movie was a bit preachy and very corny at the end.

i'm gonna go see it tomorrow. everyone i know says it's not a bad movie. some say they really liked it. they said denzel was a beast and it was pretty violent, so i should like it.

It is similar to the Fallout universe but the movie gives off 10x more of a Mad Max vibe. Was worth watching. Wasn't amazing, there was a bit of...well... walking/unexciting scenes which there's nothing special about. The movie wasn't really gory at all, just a bit in a few scenes. Much of the combat is unreal but badass. The plot and theme of the movie was generally strong (together) with a few surprise turns throughout. It advances at a slow-medium pace with no high excitement plot climax. All in all if you like post apocalyptic things go see it. If you're into action it ought to entertain you. My GF, her mom and 10 year old brother liked it also. I'd say the movie is fine for kids his age.

If anyone ever did that side quest on fallout 3 where you go to that really peaceful town and everyones nice and then you go to the shed and there's human parts and they're clearly cannibals then you'll agree it's pretty much fallout 3 the film.
Some decent twists but I find it hard to believe there's only one bible left in the world and it just happens to be a magic one that gives you immortality.
I was gonna go for 7/10 but it was regurgitated and I'm pretty sure Plagerised as fuck, so 6/10. Go see it if you've seen Avatar and are going, otherwise wait for new Matt Damon flick.
