Hey guys, I am going to purchase a memory card reader for my computer to transfer photos from my D3000. Any suggestions?

The reason I asked about the media type is the Compact Flash readers are more prone to failing than SD and the rest because they have pins. My wife has a cannon G6, she has gone through 3 readers in 2 years. If you have SD, disregard what I wrote.Dauntless wrote:

I've got an internal one. Was really cheap (like £15 or some) and works perfectly.
I use it every day, never had any problems.

I've had one of these for the past two years or so. It's received heavy usage (hundreds upon hundreds of inserts) with the CF card in my camera, and it's still going strong.
