It's not supposed to run 5 apps at a time. Believe it or not the user experience extends beyond straight horsepower for some people.

They've limited themselves to 1 application running perfectly fine or running a couple slowly. Why couldnt they put in a slightly faster processor? Its not like price matters to Apple

OK, what I meant is it's pointless for me. I can literally see no reason to own one. If someone bought one for me I'd use it for 30mins and then it would sit around gathering dust. When I was watching the video you posted I kept thinking: but I don't need that, I don't want that, wtf even is that? etc

I still don't get why iPhone OS doesn't have multitasking. The battery life / slowness argument kinda makes sense for the older phones, but for the iPad? Heck, the Palm Pre Plus apparently can run up to 50 apps without slowdown.
