Next Unlock?

I am close to being promoted to first sergeant and have four unlocks remaining. The next two have to count as it is another 30000 points or 168 days (the way I play) until Sergeant Major.

My remaining unlocks are:-

Jackhammer
MP7
Scar-L
MG36

My Thinking is:
I don't play engi often, only when in vehicles.
Not very good at spec ops and G36C seems adequate for my needs.
Play support a bit and PKM owns....unsure re MG36.

Therefore I think both jackhammer and mp7 for the engi????? I don't like close range weapons i.e. shotties and the current specops/support seem adequate?

Any suggestions much appreciated!

Stock Engy weapons are good enough IMHO. I'd say the SCAR-L but if you are patient you may get a new unlock with the AF booster/patch just like they did for the P-90 and L96A1.

Frankly, I LOVE the MG36!
Hey! A heavy machine gun that you can kill a guy with while standing!!
It is not quite as powerful as the other heavy machineguns, but it is much more accurate!
It has a nice rate of fire, also.

I'd get an MP-7; it's the only engineer weapon that is not a close-range weapon. Besides, you can get the badge easily.

i think SCAR-L, its a good gun, and i always use the PKM for support and the engineer guns are good anyway, but if i had to pick another one id get the jackhammer.

But im Sergent Major so i have them all! : D

But it takes 7 sec. to reload with a Jackhammer. So if you miss all your 7 shots... too bad

for any noobs- SCAR_L = Special Forces Capable Assault Rifle, but under the SOCOM program it was developed for it stands for Special Forces Combat Assault Rifle.

my vote goes for the SCAR-L, it is a pretty good gun, that or the support one. I have to agree with the others that the default engi weapons are fine.

I prefer the Jackhammer over the standard shottys and if I were you I'd get the scar-L so you can mix up your Spec Op game a bit.

The MP7 have let me down every time I've used it so far...

Thanks guys. I unlocked the jackhammer and scar. Both seem to bad! I agree with Sgt_Bob05.....I just get wacked over and over with the scar - the scope is crap!

Jackhammer & Mg36

Scar-L is worse than g36c, and mp7 is way too unaccurate and weak. And mp7 clip gets empty very fast and you will soon find out that you are out of ammo. Jackhammer is much better than Mp7 and when I chose Mp7 now I regret it. But PKM is better at distance because of its slower rate of fire so it's easier to aim at distance but Mg36 is very good at close to medium. One time I was support with mg36 and then one engineer shot me to my back from behind with pump-action shotgun and I beat him!

Sorry man, Wish I had gotten here before you chose the damn scar. That gotta be the worst unlock ever. It's got such horrible accuracy and recoil. I would have gone either MG36 and Jackhammer or Jackhammer and MP7. Scar is just terrible.
