Or then I'm still drunk and the real hangover is around the corner, waiting with his red eyes, getting ready to jump me like a Hunter when I least expect it. Ready to rip me into bits like a madman with nothing to lose. Solely for the pleasure of causing some agony and rising blood pressure and that evil thumping in my head. The similar madness and horror that I once experienced on that lost island I shipwrecked on. I can still remember the eyes of the creature looking at me. Its gaze. Hypnotizing. Mesmerizing. At that point I didn't even realize it was slowly walking towards me. Some noise must have woken me up from the gaze. The creature was 10 meters away. Rising its hands. I started running. I don't remember much of the way down from that mountain. I must have tripped several times since my palms were bloody. What I have been told was by some miracle a rescue team was on the beach getting ready to leave just as I ran screaming, full of horror, from the woods. Now as I write this at the rental cottage I fear they have found me. The mist is getting thicker on the icy lake. I can hear them! Oh my god, they are just outside the window! Ready to take me to the cold dephts and face the great Cthulhu. Iä Iä!
