Personally, I have no use for GPS.  Especially since it would likely drain the battery.  My device doesnt even need 3G internet, I probably wouldnt use it if it did since it would be far too expensive to be worthwhile in Canada. 

And about the tablet vs netbook thing Kmar, what if a netbook had a pivotal screen?  So you could twist it around, making it just like a tablet and use touchscreen.  The added bonus is that you'll actually have a keyboard and likely better specs.

More and more people are looking for GPS. I assume foursquare will work with it .

It would need to be light, cool, aesthetically pleasing, GIS, and support 3g/4g. The "feel" factor can't be underestimated.

Foursquare is a game you play where you try to become mayor of certain places by checking in. Sometimes those places, like resteraunts will give the mayor special deals n stuff. It's more about posting reviews n such though.

Surprised you haven't hears about it. It is international http://foursquare.com/ .

The apple app store will be something for it to compete with. Although I don't think Apple users are keen on windows 7. I think the android ones will hurt it more.

Never mind, that thing is apparently pretty poor.  Uses Win7 Starter for one

Though, it has a 1.1GHz processor that they claim can play 1080p, maybe the iPad will be able to as well. 

Another one that looks interesting is the MSI one.  Tegra powered...  Though I've heard many MSI horror stories
