I think it would be cool is some upcoming patch if they had like a B2 or just some large bomber that could drop lots of small bombs with the splash radius and damage of a heli missle (or weaker). The bomber could be slow enough that going near a carrier or lots of AA would just shred it up but with lots of bombs it could fly above the AA however the bombs would be really inaccurate. But it couldnt be spotted by UAV and when its spotted by a guy on the ground its spotted for half the time. And instead of flares it could have some sort of laser missle deflection or jammer. Its max speed would be like 3/4 of the current bombers and sicne it has no way to fend
off other jets or shoot AA emplacements it could have huge amounts of armor and have a ceiling of 3000 m/ft/whatever mesurments it is. I dont know if it would be a good thing but maybe there could be a laser site for the bombs being dropped.

Correct. The A-10 and some MiG (dunno name) will be added.

The "A" in A-10 is a USAF Ground Attack designation. So yes, it should pack a punch.

I think they should have a helicopter . A helicopter with guns mounted on the side . Not M-60's but something A little bit more potent . Also it would be cool to have the ability to carry troops . About 4 or 5 including the pilot or the guy who flies the helicopter . It would also be cool to be able to use diferent camer angles while flying too . Oh and people should also be able to fire their weapons and toss grenades if they want to . Would also be nice to be able to shoot flares and chaff or the stuff that throws off heat seeking missles by creating a fke heat signature for the rocktes to lock onto and thus saving the entire crew from utter destruction .

sounds nice, but it's going to be so unbalanced so i'll say no
but we still have to wait for the a-10 because it's suppose to have bombs like that(not 100% sure though)

Allthough i d like the idea of anti personel cluster bombs under my f35b, i m sure i ll get loads of teamskills with them so i m not sure if its really a good idea to add it to the game cause aviators are allready known for accidental teamkills.

If only ea/dice could put a transponder on top of all the backpacks of the troops on the ground so they would all be visible on the hud of a jet, maybe then they can add some cluster bombs for carpet bombing too. In bfv its was alot easier to deploy napalm without any tks cause all your teammates were visible on the 3d map.

The A-10 with the .50 cal gatling cannon with Armor piercing rounds will Own a tank in any situation. the A-10's slow speed will be key to the effectiveness of it also in the game. you really wont need any real throttle control if they do it right(EA/Dice) Because the planes max speed is around 600mph max if i remember. In 1992 in desert storm, before i got hurt. The A-10 is what i rearmed day after day. I Just hope EA Makes it as effective as it is in real life. too bad its retired basically, It was a sight to see that plane in action. Devistateing.

As for the Scout chopper, It will be Man'd UAV if you think of it that way. Will be a great asset for the team, Thats if anyone actually flys it during game, seeing i dont know How they will give out points for it. If theres no incentive to use it, then i see that chopper not being used much.

I would also like to see Blackhawks with missle pods on them Like they have in the NAW mod. It would give extra incentive to players, haveing 28 rapid fire missles to use to get out of trouble while carrying troops to the battlefield.

ok the bombers so far carry five 500 pound bombs. if i remember correctly from what my friend told my. the A-10 can carry something like 12-20 of the same bombs. now granted there are lots of other things they can mount on there other than just dumb bombs but still that thing is insane. PLUS IT IS A FLYING TANK. it has SOOO much armor. its like a titanium bathtub.

it cruises at about 400mph. now for anyone with some sens you should have noticed that the speed of planes ingame has been scaled down even though the speedometer says they are doing about 800kph its more like 150-200kph. anyways what i am getting at is the A-10 will so slow that helicopters will shoot it down with tv missiles. but my god it will be the new flying demon because it has so many beautiful bombs.

now what would be just plain wrong is the spectre gunship. let me describe the spectre gunship for you. strap an apc to a tank and add airplane wings to it. if any of you thought the MEC chopper was bad you should see the spectre. they used those things in afghanistan. they just fly in lazy circles and fire tank shell and mortars and big guns from the sky and its a friggin airplane.

ppl like fancy jet fighters and complicated cluster bombs. well right now the best stuff is still old school bombs and big guns, just lots of them. bullets and bombs mmm mmm good.

The spectre gunships armaments include ; 2 (20mm) vulcan cannons, 1 (25mm) gatling gun, 1 (40mm) bofors cannon and 1 (105mm) howitzer gun/cannon , so if it was introduced it would be on a very very big map

Armoured Fury's gonna be like Smoke screen but with more tanks, and more planes killing those tanks. Hopefully there wont be more than 1 AT plane a side.
