I have a half empty bottle of pasta sauce that's been sitting in the fridge for two weeks. Problem is, it says use within 3 days of opening. Now using my awesome logic, half a bottle should take twice as long to go off, however that still leaves me a week short of today. What are your thoughts on the matter, forum? It's Lloyd Grossman's Roasted Garlic Tomato sauce, if that helps.

Should be ok if it was in the fridge, but I'd smell it first.

Give it a look, smell it, if it's been in the fridge the whole time it should be ok. Just heat it up/cook it thoroughly.
