i lost almost a stone over the 3 months that i was hitting drone/lone/coke/ket regularly. back on a healthy diet and fitness regime now, though.

@james: yeah well, it probably seems like im talking sense because im a middle-class white kid with a formal/posh background. drugs aren't the obvious life-choice for someone of my background. started as intellectual curiosity and experimentation, and got a little out of hand because ive always enjoyed the partyscene and good music. nothing like dj'ing a party to 150 people whilst high on mephedrone and feeling all the love they have for you. you're the coolest cat in the room. for a long time i felt like the coolest cat on campus, too, cause everyone would know me. the problem is they'd know me as the guy for massively excessive, debauched parties. it's not a basis for a social network. bad rep.
i wouldnt 'recommend' them, but all i'd say is... don't believe the societal stigma and finger-wagging. a few nights on drugs arent going to kill you. you wont become a junkie. you wont spend a week in bed vomiting on a chemical comedown. in fact, with most drugs you'll feel way better the morning-after than you would with an alcohol-induced hangover. it's your choice, though. ive had my experience. from now ill recreationally use when i feel like it, but the excess and nights wandering around london's clubland meeting people and hooking up with random girls whilst high are long gone. burnt out on that phase.
