Shifty, just stop posting. Everytime you do, it just reminds people how thick you are
The snow is not at all lightweight. It is being pushed down the face of a mountain and is under extreme pressure = it gets extremely compact. I've been to an avalanche site. Trust me, the snow is rock hard.-Sh1fty- wrote:
You can compact the snow around you with little movements then eventually you have enough space to bend your knees, arms, etc...
Remember this isn't wet heavy snow this is lightweight "Dry" but freezing snow. 20 inches = 50cm, that's NOTHING! I used to make these little ice caves when I was younger and one time I had the good idea of making a fire in one...
I'm still here.
Finray has the right idea.
Oh thanks I didn't know that. I thought it was still just un compact and all shifty and all.Jenspm wrote:

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.

Even if he was thick what's it to you? Don't like his posts? ignore them, if that's too difficult for you then you should ask yourself who "the thick one" really is here.bennisboy wrote:

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
With the speed and friction of an avalance the snow heats up while compacting. Pretty much compacts you in hard icy snow.-Sh1fty- wrote:
Wow
Seriously though, how do you not just dig through 20 inches in a few minutes? Knowing avalanche snow is the flaky non-sticky snow it should be like crawling through a bajillion little airsoft bbs 1mm in width.
Then again I've never been in an avalanche.
because avalanche snow is not the flaky non sticky snow you think it is.-Sh1fty- wrote:
