Can't check the PSU in another machine, because if I had a socket 478 mobo that's working, why wouldn't I just use that? Mobo, CPU and RAM are top of the list. I assume the board has on board graphics, otherwise GPU is always a possibilty. If you checked the PSU and HDD in another machine, then it's less likely to be them.
