Then people would downrate eachother even more. This would be even worse if you were on top of the leader board - people would neg you just because you are on top, and others wouldn't +1 you because you already had so much. It would be better to see a list of everyones Karma votes so that obvious trolls can have their Karma rights removed and their -1's against others reset to 0s.gene_pool wrote:

An automated script could even check to see what percentage or how many people are just spamming -1s on other accounts. This is getting a bit technical for a simple system of karma, but everyone knows how many trolls and idiots there are out there. It almost makes sense to just have +1 and no other option.
The Karma concept is great on paper and fun to be rewarded for thoughtful posts, but the trolls will always get to you.
