This movie borrows alot from the book The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks.  Which isnt necessarily a bad thing.  I am a fan of Woody Harrelson so that was a plus as well.  The film also features a pretty cool cameo by Bill Murray . If you even remotely like zombie flicks you'll appreciate Zombieland.
I don't understand why people liked it. I came out of the theatre thinking everyone thought it was as bad as I did, considering the only bit people laughed at was the bill murray part.

Yes, bill murray was funny, no, the movie wasn't good.

I guess I can appreciate it for what it is. I mean it's no Oscar winner, but I really enjoyed it.

A Room for Romeo Brass 9/10

Been a fan of Shane Meadows (Dead Man's Shoes, This is England etc.) but ain't seen this one till now, brilliant! Some good moments of humour, but a powerful and somewhat dark storyline lead by an amazing performance by Paddy Considine.
More enjoyable 'cus it set sort of in Uttoxeter which is near me and the accent's are so familiar.

Would someone who doesn't live there or have an accent enjoy it?

Action was okay, driving scenes were nice and I kinda enjoy watching Jason Statham kicking ass. Good for an evening home alone.

Was that the one that had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival, simultaneously TV-broadcast on ARTE?
The version that they found in Argentina in 2008.

Because I missed it.

Oh yeah deffo, it just depends if you like that sort of film. Difficult to describe sort of gritty social drama style thing. If you've seen This is England or Dead Man's Shoes (as Dauntless says brilliant) you should definitely check it out. If you ain't seen any of 'em you should try and watch 'em all!

Law abiding citizen.
7/10 Gerard Butler did a good job but Jamie Foxx was utter shit. Really it's been all down hill since Ray for him.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
It was so obvious that Sarah was about to die that I literally said out loud "oh you're dead". She started talking about her life choices and she dun exploded up with five minutes.

Went to see Avatar again last night, this time with the whole family.

Remains 10/10

Also discovered what the familiar piece of music on the soundtrack was from, Enemy at the Gates (James Horner as well).

The first half of that movie wasn't even necessary, nor was it entertaining. Second half was unrealistic but pretty awesome.
