Yeah, the theory test is extremely easy, especially as the questions are pretty much the same as example tests available freely online. I think I got 49, must've misread a question or something then 63 on the hazard perception part.

Jebus it means I am now legal to book and participate in a practical test, which is the big one, the whole driving on the road and showing you are capable one

But are you allowed to practice on the road now or not? Here in Belgium, if you pass your theoretical exam, you're allowed to drive if accompanied by a person who has had a licence for at least 4 years and is 24 or older. Or if you take driving school lessons and pass, you get a certificate that allows you to drive without a companion but with certain restrictions (like you can't drive at night during weekends or on holidays).

You can drive on the road before passing your theory test, you need to pass your theory test to book your practical test however.

Once you reach 17 and apply for a provisional license, you can drive on the road aslong as you're with someone who has passed their test (don't remember how long they must have passed for, think they have to be 21+ too)

Wow, your system seems to have a lot more faith in inexperienced drivers than ours. Personally, I think everyone who ventures out onto the road should have a good knowledge of the rules. That's why in my opinion those cars you can drive without actually owning a licence should be banned. Whenever I see one of these, I keep my distance.
