Is there like a milisecond of spawn protection or was this just some crazy incident?
I spawned in and was immediately shot by a tank. I took no damage and went flying over the fence behind me. This kind of thing happen to anyone else?

There is a very short period of spawn protection right after you spawn. Its especially noticable when you spawn into claymores (or plant claymores on someone's spawn).

the one ive been through was arty. i spawned and a milisecond after i was hit DIRECTLY with arty, and went flying ontop of a building next to me. right when i thought WOAH AWESOME NEW SPOT i got killed by the rest of the strike. sigh.
