Is the Razer Mamba as good as it is claimed to be?

I know a few (or at least Lucien) have a Razer Mamba.

I have an MX-518 at the moment and it is not broken or anything. But it was only $35, so I have decided that is cheap enough I can afford to get bored of it.

I had a Razer Diamondback and it was good. I just wanted something a bit bigger.

So, thoughts? Most user reviews/reviews I have read are pretty positive.

flaws:
six month battery guarantee
squeaky scrollwheel bug, although that's fixable

awesomes:
zero wireless lag
made out of very comfortable materials
its shape is sex for the hand
nice dpi range
dpi buttons work well as normal buttons if you're not a dpi-adjusting fag
can be plugged in and used as a wired mouse
low liftoff sensitivity (IE if you lift it off its surface it doesn't spazz out)

I've been waiting for the rather insanely high price to drop before I buy one of these, my Diamondback 3G is quite pants compared to my old Copperhead which I broke, I only got the DB3G because it was cheap so I really want a nice new mouse for some BC2 bashing

It's removable but I haven't seen a place to buy replacements.

I have used a few different wireless mice now... and is wireless lag THAT big of an issue?

RF signals travel a foot or two WAY to fucking fast for you to seriously notice.

Urgh, Razers fit my hands like bricks... Most non-ergonomic mice ever imo... Especially Copperhead... Right-Hand-Only-Logitech-Style ftw :b

You can't bash all Razer mice because you find the Copperhead uncomfortable. It's one of the ugliest and poorest designed ones.

The Mamba/Deathadder/Imperator are all designed for right handers and fit like a glove. Even with my freakishly large hands. Although that's just my opinion. Everyone's hands are different.
